It was quite chilly out this morning with a temperature of just 40 degrees. The wind finally stopped though and the sun came out. One side of the lake was in shade and when I got to the other side it felt soooo good to feel the sun. It was 45 degrees when I got back home and its supposed to get to the upper 60's I think later today. I walked around the lake and saw many people out walking, running and a few fishing as well. All those rabbits I've been seeing, I read on a poster are Eastern Cottontails. I saw the white egrets for the first time today and got this picture of them. I didn't notice until I saw the picture that there is a squirrel on the tree trunk across the top of the picture.
The water lilies are started to come up. They are small now but will turn green when they grow bigger.
The usual deer, geese, and birds were about too. They all help make my walk around the lake such a pleasure! :-)
I walked just over 6 miles.
