Skillet Apple Pie

This summer I bought a cast iron skillet at the thrift store.  I haven't used it a whole lot but a couple of days ago I ran across a recipe for apple pie baked in a cast iron skillet.  Today I decided to give it a go.  Apple pie is my hubby's favorite and this is a very different recipe, so he was to be the judge as to whether this is a thumb's up or thumb's down!

Hubby gave it a resounding thumb's up!  

So, this pie will be made again... and probably again and again...
